TALENT ALERT: TAYLOR’S DEAD WRONG ENERGY SUMMIT SPEECH

The AFR National Energy Summit is taking place in Sydney today. The summit kicked off with a speech from the Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction, Angus Taylor that was fundamentally at odds with what is required to tackle climate change, and is dead wrong.

Taylor has gone against the advice of the Energy Security Board Chief and is looking to keep Australia’s dirty, ageing, unreliable coal fleet on life support.

The rest of the world is moving away from coal and Australia must do the same if we are to tackle the escalating climate crisis.

TALENT AVAILABLE:

  • Greg Bourne, Climate Councillor, energy expert and former head of BP Australasia

For interviews please contact Communications Officer, Brianna Hudson on 0455 238 875.
