Periodic maintenance of fire systems in accordance with AS1851 has been neglected by Relm Property Group. Results identifying diesel pump motor seized within 8 months of site operational. Brand new system destroyed due to non compliance of periodic maintenance cycle. Fire life and safety has been compromised and risk of incident and fatality has increased for the occupants at 14-18 Peggy Street Mays Hill and surrounding properties and residents. WHS and the fire suppression systems on site are to be investigated further by NSW Fire & Rescue by response from the division unit.
For the duration of approximately 9 months the subject land at 14-18 Peggy Street Mays Hill was left unprotected with a non - operational pump system due to engine failure due to the fact that no fire trade contractor was appointed to carry out monthly testing as per AS1851 and NCC. Relm Property Group has shown no interest in corrective of preventative action to rectify any of these defects but not limited to non - compliance's/ non - conformance's of the subject land to date.
Fire life and safety has not been taken seriously by Relm Property Group and action must be taken before a serious tragedy or fatality occurs.
