Originally from Toowoomba, Nicola, my wife, and I decided to move to the Sunshine Coast in 1998. I began working at the then newly formed Sea FM radio station, having previously worked at 4GR in Toowoomba for 5 years. We lived in Mooloolaba for 3 years and whilst we enjoyed being close to the beach and cafes, we knew we needed space and privacy so to Diddillibah we ventured. That was 2001.We live on that same property today and we are in no hurry to leave. Why would we? Living on acreage on the Sunshine Coast is about as good as it gets! I am still passionate about this lifestyle we chose and perhaps one reason why I have enjoyed my career in the real estate industry for over 15 years.I began selling real estate as an "acreage specialist" with Mal Clark, Tony Van Dijk and Rebecca Smith at Leading Edge Real Estate in Nambour. Today, as the business owner of RE/MAX Property Sales, I continue to specialise in Lifestyle Acreage Property. I believe I was the first to refer to myself as a "Lifestyle Acreage Specialist" ... it's caught on! It must have been a good idea. Most real estate agents sell whatever type of property they can and wherever they can secure it. I am a Lifestyle Acreage Specialist so I ONLY sell lifestyle acreage properties. I have been inducted into the RE/MAX National Hall of Fame as well as the RE/MAX International Hall of Fame with in excess of 600 settled sales.
